He hired me to write a piece for VQR a few years ago, and he edited said piece of writing. He was a kind person, and more importantly, he was very good at his job. No question was too small. No email went unanswered. I had been meaning to contact him during the past year to say hi and to reconnect. I wish I had because I would have told him what fine work he did. It pains me to think he left his life thinking he was worthless or that his work was substandard. He deserved better. I knew Kevin Morrissey a little. And if you think that's outrageous, they're exactly the same amount of real evidence (none) as well as the same amount of anecdotage (some, of course) to support it.
