If you’ve ever looked at Adbusters magazine, you know what they’re all about. One of my favorite sections is always the “jams” people do to subvert advertising. I have a jam idea: Now that companies have decided to advertise on fruit by placing little stickers on it, use the labels to make a point. Remove the stickers and place them over barcodes of other items. Cashiers will be forced to manually enter product information. Yeah. It sucks for the minimum wage workers, but it slows down the evil system. Someone has to stop it.
